To Andrew,

I can’t speak highly enough of you and your set up at Jetskifishing NZ, having just purchased a brand new Yamaha FXHO Cruiser fully kitted out. Your knowledge is without compare and your enthusiasm infectious. I have a beautifully finished product and look forward to many exciting hours on the water. To Andrew,

Having fished for most of my adult life I was interested to see a jet-ski angler at Flat Rock.  The jet-ski looked really stable in the water, as I watched Andrew land some snapper.  Curiosity got the better of me and I moved my boat over and had a brief chat with Andrew...   It transpired that Andrew was the owner of Jetskifishing NZ. I was really amazed to learn Andrew had launched the jet-ski at Bucklands Beach and ridden all the way out to Flat Rock a good 25 kilometres!

The ability to fish without a crew enticed me to do some research with the intention of purchasing a jet-ski.

Andrew,  provided me with information regarding the type of ski, trailer, depth sounder, rod holder, PLB Handheld  VHF clothing and other accessories.

I purchased a jet-ski, and was then let down by the retailer with supply issues.   I contacted Jetskifishing to see if they could match the offer and supply a new Yamaha jet-ski.  Andrew personally kept me informed of delivery and availability of the jet-ski, follow up calls were made by him whilst we waited for the next shipment to arrive in Auckland.  My new Yamaha was fitted with all the accessories, and on delivery Andrew conducted a familiarisation session on the water, ensuring I knew how to operate the jet-ski and all the accessories.

Having found Andrew to be really professional and interested in his customers needs, I would have no hesitation in recommending Jetskifishing.  As part of the customer service follow up, Andrew has also organised jetski fishing trips for a number of keen anglers which has added another dimension to my enjoyment of jetski fishing.

To Andrew,

After 5 months out on the water fishing on my jet ski, I wanted to send you this message to say a big thank you!

I remember discussing the idea of jet ski fishing over several beers with a work mate Craig back in December last year. After hearing Craig’s stories and seeing photos of his fully rigged jet ski, I got quite excited about the idea.

I had owned a boat for just over seven years and had only clocked up a total of 37 hours – what a joke! I could see that perhaps the idea of fishing off a jet ski could be a lot easier for me.

I initially logged on to your Jetskifishing website and was very impressed with how well you described the sport. I was particularly excited by the fishing reports and the videos. I could just see myself landing one of those huge kingies!

I then called into your store to meet you and learn more about jet ski fishing. I was most impressed with your “no pressure” style and how open you were to sharing your knowledge and experiences of the sport. I could see that everything you put your name to was of top quality and I have always been a believer that you get what you pay for. I also liked your attention to safety and was thankful of the guidance you gave me around which safety gear and equipment I should consider. I quickly came to the conclusion that if I was to buy a jet ski and get into fishing, you were the man to do business with.

One of the things that I was most appreciative of was the fact that you were willing to let me test ride your own personal ski. Reading and listening to information was great but to actually get out on the water and experience the excitement of the jet ski was the decider for me.

Since the purchase of my Yamaha FX Cruiser jet ski you have been so helpful guiding and assisting me with all of my questions on jet ski fishing. Nothing is ever a problem and I have really enjoyed doing business with you. More importantly we have become friends and I look forward to getting out there fishing with you in the future.

I may be pushing 50 but I feel like a kid again. I just love fishing and now I enjoy the thrill of getting to and from the fishing spots super fast!

I already have and will continue to recommend you and your business to anyone thinking of getting into the sport of jet ski fishing.

Thanks again Andrew for everything.

See you out on the water.

To Andrew,

I am beyond amazed with the product you supplied, the design is awesome and durable.  I was buzzing around at 55mph in the bay with 1-2 sea state and had no worries about the Ultimate Rod Holder and my rods bouncing off.  Actually the U.R.H. and cooler (chilly bin) didn't even shift.  I am amazed with your service over the other side of the world being 7 day delivery and will recommend to anyone with a PWC looking to fish.  Caught a couple speckled trout while fishing the flats, I can't wait to venture offshore and catch some monsters.  I went fishing last Saturday and as I was putting in the water, everyone at the dock was amazed and were trying to snap photos of the gadget.

Hi Andrew,
I just wanted to say a big thanks for your help, expertise and craftsmanship in putting my jet ski together and for introducing me to this fantastic sport.  I like so many others, was a boat owner with a small family and found it hard to balance my excitement for fishing with their excitement for cruising. The stability of the boat also caused some issues when the wind got up a little which resulted in unhappy kids and wife.  Lucky for me I was introduced to Jetski fishing.  Your willingness to provide me with some sound advice on what Jet-skis to look for was greatly appreciated and I am now the proud owner of a great Yamaha WaveRunner ski.  Your craftsmanship and attention to detail when it came to fitting out the ski were first class and gave me the confidence to enjoy my time out on the water.  The sport has given me the enjoyment of fishing along with a blast of fun when moving from spot to spot.  The family have also had fun and because of this my wife now wants one.  I would absolutely unequivocally recommend you and your products to anyone wishing to get into the sport or wanting to have the ULTIMATE jet-ski fishing equipment.  Thanks so much.

Hi Andrew,

I am just writing to thank you for all your help before I was even buying a ski with your free fishing night and now with all the help and great deal you gave me on my new Yamaha WaveRunner. It was good being able to take your WaveRunner out to see if I wanted to upgrade from my Sea-Doo and then you sold my old one for a fair price on behalf...

Thanks again for a great deal and that extra mile in service, now all I have to do is catch a fish!!

Thank you for the delivery of my "Ultimate Rod Holder" fishing unit for my Sea-Doo Gti SE jetski. It took less than 5 days to arrive from New Zealand to Mandurah / Western Australia (impressive). I fitted it under 5 min and went fishing the next day. It works beyond expectations. I also really enjoyed the accessories you provided, such as the Ultimate reel covers, chilly bin cord and stainless steel bait tray for inside the eski.

I caught a few fish out at James service reef and your equipment worked great. Fits snuggly, no noise or vibrations, looks great on my ski, enough rod holders and space for my gaf. I will be recommending your product to my Aussie mates at St Johns’ Ambulance as well as my mates back in South Africa. Thanks again for your great product.

Hi Andrew

Just wanted to tell you how great of a product you sell. I have had it for a little over a month now and can't begin to tell you how much I love it! I now use my 05' RXP for all my fishing and my flats boat is now in storage... Last week I took my rig 9.7 miles off shore to fish for grouper. I have to tell you that not for one second was I worried about your "Ultimate Rod Holder". I caught a very nice 8 pm Grouper in no time and headed in. You should have seen the looks I got from other boats, 10 miles out on my Sea-Doo!!!

Anyways, I wanted to say thanks and I am spreading the word

Hey Andrew,

I have just been out in big seas with my new ULTIMATE ROD HOLDER and just wanted to thank you so much for such a well designed product.

Three months ago I chose to buy an identical looking product from one of your competitors, it was $200 cheaper and I couldn't see the benefit in paying more for yours when they both looked the same.. My first BIG MISTAKE!

The first two times I went out in mild seas and all went well. The third time I went out (it wasn't even that rough) I went to move location and after a few minutes glanced over my shoulder, and couldn't believe my eyes.. where the heck was my rod holder? Gone. Completely. Heart racing, I spun the ski around and about 500 metres back toward where I had come from, there it was, bobbing in the water! My fish had all gone but thank heavens I had clipped in my two rods and fishing net and they were all there, attached. Total value if I had lost it all? $1200!!!
I scooped it up and resting it on my knee, limped to a nearby island to re-attach it. It turns out the vastly inferior front mounting mechanism had allowed it to come off the ski, then the drag in the water snapped the two rear bungees. I had some spare bungees and re-fitted it as tightly as I could, and carried on. The front mount came off my jet-ski two more times that day, though because I was being cautious I managed to stop before it pulled off completely.

But it doesn't end there.  When I had cooled down I emailed the manufacturer and to be fair he was very apologetic, and he created a different clip fitting and sent it up to me immediately. So off I went fishing again.
This time the rod holder definitely stayed on, no problem there. But because the front clip fitting has not been tested and we are the guinea pigs, the whole assembly was able to move around and in doing so it ripped the matting and took several chunks out of the fiberglass on the back of my ski. Again the manufacturer was very apologetic and asked me to send photos etc. But after sleeping on it I decided enough is enough, I am sick of being the guinea pig and getting my ski wrecked, I just wanted my money back and to move on. (I have since heard of another competitors rod holder kit came off the back of another jetski during the recent local jetskifishing competition)

I am now the proud owner of the ULTIMATE ROD HOLDER and all I can say is if you go cheap and buy anyone elses copy, it may look the same but there are subtle differences which will cause you grief and cost you money.

As my mate Neil said as he proudly pointed to his Genuine ULTIMATE ROD HOLDER, "Long after price is forgotten, quality remains."

Hi Andrew

Jjust wanted to flick you an email to say how great yesterday was. You really did an awesome job organizing that whole event and I think from there it will grow huge. A lot went into what you did, and I think everyone really appreciated it.  They all seem like such a good bunch of guys.

Vicki and I had so much fun, even though we didn’t have much clue of what we were doing, and poor Vicki got bucked off the ski and took a swim. We are still laughing about that one. We both ended up toast last night. To much celebrating I think.

Small world that Kristy grew up knowing Vic.

I have some photos that we took yesterday of my fish. Not sure if you want them. Just let me know.

Again, thanks from us two girls. We are going shopping at Top Catch and both going to get a cute pink fishing rod each with the prize money.
