Monster Snapper at Great Barrier Island!

What I love most about Jetskifishing are the friendships and experiences we enjoy while on our adventures.

I arrange many social trips for clients and friends who are eager to learn more about the sport, while fishing beautiful locations throughout our country. My latest adventure was another trip to Great Barrier Island, it is a truly special location and is without the pressures of a commercialised cities. This trip was once again at full capacity and with a group filling the barge with 15 eager Jetskifisho's.

This particular trip requires the guests to be experienced and well prepared and all with at least a couple years Jetskifishing under their belt.

On arrival to the island it didn't take long to settle in to our base, which was only a stone throw away from a boat ramp and a perfect location where we could catch some good sized Snapper.  With a strong wind we opted for most of the trip to beach launch on the eastern side of the island. This always adds to some on tour entertainment with a few of us being slowed down by some beach antics!

The fishing was as we expected with plenty of big fish caught throughout the trip!

This adventure had a great balance of fishing and relaxing.  What better way to reflect each day after a days fishing, over a few coldies and a meal with our fantastic group of Jetskifisho's.

If you haven't joined us for one of our social trips, it's time to get involved so you too can get the most enjoyment out of the sport.

We have many fun and exciting activities planned over the summer and we look forward to seeing you signed up.

Our local fishing is also hot at the moment, check out the Snapper, Mark from The AM Show caught with me yesterday in the Hauraki Gulf work ups (check out some video of the Dolphins)

Cheers, Andrew
